I haven't worked on it in a while (sorry Sam!), 
but I wouldn't say it's dead.
If you look in the subversion repository, 
you'll find some working code.

I'll make a promise right now.
I'll post a release of Term::Caca on CPAN
by June 10th.

Be waiting for it.
