[libcaca] [ANN] libcaca 0.6

   Happy new year everyone! For those disappointed by the few new
features in 0.5, this is libcaca 0.6, an important release that brings
the following exciting changes:

    o  a 30% speed increase in the bitmap rendering routine
    o  mouse support in the X11 driver
    o  important speed optimisations in the X11 driver
    o  improved documentation and minor bugfixes

   Amongst the other changes, the X11 driver is now the default one
because of its speed and configurability. The API also slightly changed
and the documentation was updated accordingly.

   You can download libcaca 0.6 from its homepage:

   Source tarballs, Debian packages and a source RPM package for Fedora,
Red Hat and Mandrake are available. Users of other platforms are encou-
raged to build from source and report issues.
