[libcaca] libcaca 0.99.beta1

Hello gentlemen. This is a beta release of libcaca for the world to
see what has been going on for the last two years. It is not ready yet
for production use, but the API is almost frozen and it is very close
interface-wise to the final 1.0 product.

   Download the 0.99.beta1 version here:

      http://sam.zoy.org/libcaca/libcaca-0.99.beta1.tar.gz

   From the changelog:

 - license switched to WTFPL

 - libcaca was split into libcucul, a standalone text manipulation backend,
and libcaca, the display and user input frontend
 - Unicode support
 - TrueColor (more than 16 colours) support
 - Floyd-Steinberg dithering
 - gamma correction
 - builtin fonts for device-independent bitmap output
 - various text transformation routines (rotation, horizontal flip...)
 - kernel mode to build libcaca programs into a bootable x86 kernel

 - export functions for HTML, IRC, ANSI, SVG, PostScript, TGA...
 - OpenGL renderer

 - cacaserver, a telnet server that can be hooked to libcaca applications
 - img2irc, an image to IRC conversion utility

People who wrote bindings for various languages are encouraged to
update them. People who maintain applications that use libcaca should
update them. Developer documentation can be found here:
